Blenders
Blenders have been around for almost a century and it is the efficiency with which they have been working and that has allowed them to stand high against the rough wind of time. They are always on a ‘must have’ list for any household. Even with all the new gadgets available for mixing liquids and solid, satisfaction is brought with a blender only. They can whisk liquids at high speeds, crush and grind solids, and they can make better for pancakes and cakes, deal with graves and pudding and much more. The two broad categories of blenders are the traditional blenders and the immersion blenders. The traditional ones have a power base, a tall container or jar with blades at the bottom. The jar, also known as carafe, is made from plastic and glass. A few companies also make stainless steel jugs as an optional accessory. It has a capacity of 40 to 60 ounces. To prevent the contents from splashing out, a lid is provided. In the recent years a variation of the standard blender, the immersion blender has gained much popularity. It is an all in one blending tool with its name derived from the fact that they are immersed into the contents, unlike the traditional blenders. Immersion blenders are for light duty blending and cannot take up the tough task, such as ice crushing. You can use them in cups, bowls or deep pots.
Many people purchase blender for their ability of blending thick drinks and smoothies that is why the latest models now come with ice crushing and pulse setting. They are quick, convenient, and easy to clean, and are not messy at all. For your convenience at the edge of the carafe, a dispensing spout is present which allows you to pour drinks directly into serving glasses. While buying, you should keep in mind the number of times you use your blender.
